Welcome to Clever Cloggs Childcare Ltd

Clever Cloggs Childcare Ltd was established in August 2006; Chloe Eales (Managing Director) has twenty years experience in childcare having worked in the public, private and voluntary sector. During that time she has worked in a variety of settings including a special needs nursery and has previously been Childcare and Education Director for a chain of nurseries.

Natalie Nunn (Manager) has twelve years of experience and is committed to providing high quality childcare and education. Natalie has recently finished studying for her NVQ level 4 in Management.

Between the staff team they have over 100 years experience in childcare; they are from a wide spectrum of settings and all bring their different knowledge and experience to Clever Cloggs. The staff have a variety of qualifications. Clever Cloggs actively encourages the staff to continue their personal professional development. The nursery will close for five staff training days a year.

Staff become part of a family; we have a strong emphasis on parent/carer/staff relationships. A Friends of Clever Cloggs group is held three times a year. It is an opportunity for parents/carers/staff to meet informally to form positive partnerships. We also aim to arrange family outings to museums, picnics and the seaside as well as a gathering at the end of the year.

At Clever Cloggs we believe in giving the children in our childcare the opportunity to make choices and decisions in an environment where multiple learning experiences are provided through age appropriate equipment, natural resources, and planned activities.

We aim to promote an ethos with the emphasis on active learning, which achieves the holistic development of the children in our care in a safe loving and happy environment conducive to their learning.
